About Heather Buttrum

Heather Buttrum is an avid horse enthusiast and Trakehner breeder located in Buckeye, Arizona. As a breeder, Heather has had the unique opportunity to study and photograph horses of various ages, from foals to performance horses, in casual settings as well as the formal atmosphere of shows and breed inspections. Her passion for photography developed as it became apparent that high quality photos were necessary to market her own horses successfully. Recognizing that others face the same challenges in capturing photos that showcase their horses' positive qualities, Heather now offers her skills to others.

Heather feels continuing education is important in any field and participates in photography classes as her schedule permits. She has completed classes on both equine subjects and general photography skills. Heather is also a member of the Equine Photographers Network.
